Why do we often react contrary to what we want?

Why do we sometimes react impulsively in important situations, even though we know how we should respond?

Why do certain patterns in relationships keep repeating?

Why does communication often lead to misunderstandings or conflicts?

The answers to these questions do not lie in “willpower,” but in patterns that were formed much earlier and that govern our behavior.

What is Transactional Analysis?

Transactional Analysis (TA) is one of the most practical psychological theories that:

  • explains how personality functions
  • provides a clear model of communication
  • enables understanding and change of patterns

TA is not a theory you only learn – it is a model you apply to yourself and in working with others.

What will you learn in TA 101?

You will understand the structure of personality through ego states

You will learn how transactions function in communication

You will recognize life positions and behavioral patterns

You will understand the concept of the life script and early decisions

You will recognize psychological games and their patterns

These are the fundamental concepts that form the foundation for further development
in the fields of psychotherapy, counseling, and working with people.

Educators and Supervisors

The training is led by internationally certified Transactional Analysis trainers:

Dr. Aleksandra Bubera Ninić, MD, specialist in psychiatry, TSTA-P (Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst – Psychotherapy), and MA Milena Marković, psychologist and communication scientist, PTSTA-P (Provisional Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst – Psychotherapy).

Other certified colleagues will be included in the training as they obtain the status of international TA trainers, as well as non-certified colleagues, who in such cases will work under the direct supervision and in the presence of certified trainers.

Supervisors are internationally certified Transactional Analysis trainers for hours that qualify as TA supervision.

For hours that qualify as non-TA supervision, supervisors may be supervisors from other schools/modalities, as well as regional, national, and local tutors and supervisors.

Experiential workshops and therapeutic marathons are facilitated by colleague psychotherapists who are not the primary educators and supervisors of the students.
