Educational Seminar | Belgrade
Do your clients experience sudden waves of overwhelming fear?
Do they feel as if they are losing control, “losing their minds,” or that something dangerous is happening with their body?
Panic attacks can be deeply distressing and exhausting. While often described as “terrifying,” they are, in fact, understandable processes that can be decoded and effectively managed with the right approach.
We invite you to join a specialized two-day workshop led by Aleksandra Bubera Ninić, MD, psychiatrist, a highly experienced expert in the treatment of anxiety disorders.
What will you gain?
Through an approach combining theory and practical techniques based on Transactional Analysis (Berne’s interventions), participants will explore:
- Understanding panic – Key concepts, symptoms, and debunking common myths (heart attack, stroke, “losing one’s mind”)
- Emotions & “decontamination” – Working with the frame of reference and understanding the mind–body–emotion connection (KER model)
- The body in panic – Mechanisms of hyperventilation and physical onset
- Decontamination of dysfunctional beliefs on panic – Bern’s interventions
- Practical symptom management – Controlled breathing, attention-focusing techniques, progressive relaxation, ect.
- Deep root causes – Exploring underlying psychological conflicts behind panic attacks
- Supervisions – Client case discussions, addressing therapeutic challenges, and guidance for ongoing clinical work.
